The Coshocton Regional Medical Center Pharmacy holds patient safety as a top priority in the management of medications necessary for inpatient and emergency care. Incorporated in every task is the focus on accuracy and detail to ensure every patient receives the right medication at the right dose and at the right time. Verification of patient’s name and birth date are only the final step in a complex verification process that is a critical element in quality patient care.
Medication dosing and intravenous therapies are reviewed for accuracy by our skilled pharmacy staff before any medications ever reach the patient. Our nurses then provide additional control by matching the medication dosage to the doctor’s orders and verifying the patient’s identity before delivering doses or treatments.

Our on-site pharmacy compliments our medical services by supplying the necessary medication with the efficiency, accuracy and timeliness our patients require. In addition, our team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are available to our nursing staff to assist with patient questions or concerns about specific medications. The pharmacy is staffed daily, so patients and family can speak with a pharmacist if needed.
