While in the hospital, your recovery begins with a care team that includes you, your physician, our inpatient physical therapy team, your caregivers and family members. Whenever physical therapy is required, our team helps begin your recovery with therapeutic exercises designed to increase strength and mobility.

Your therapy schedule will depend on the nature of your condition, but often begins in your hospital room soon after your admitted or following surgery. We also have therapy facilities in the hospital where you may go for additional therapy as you regain your strength. Your therapist will discuss your therapy plan with you before you begin so you will know what to expect.

Outpatient Physical Therapy

When you’re suffering from an illness or injury that limits your ability to move, your recovery doesn’t end with your hospital stay. Our outpatient therapy services play a major role in your healing process. Our team of physical therapists and physical therapy assistants will first evaluate and diagnose your movement dysfunction, and then work with you through treatments such as exercise, education, aquatic therapy, electrotherapy and the use of assistive devices.

Our goal is to prevent long-term disability, to restore your ability to function at your best, and to assist you in maintaining that optimum level of functionality. Our therapists will work with you in our 10,000 square foot facility, with state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to guide your progress.
