Laboratory Services

At our main laboratory and eight conveniently-located lab draw centers, we begin with efficient, comfortable lab draws performed by our trained phlebotomists. We provide comprehensive analysis by our skilled lab technicians using the state-of-the-art analytical technologies of our on-site laboratory. Having the availability of laboratory services in the hospital means quick turnaround of results to the ordering physician to enable timely diagnosis when it matters most. Our hospital lab also offers extended hours as well as Saturday and Sunday for walk-in service geared to your busy schedule. Our comprehensive services include:

• Obtaining blood specimens
• Analyzing blood and fluid samples
• Body substance cultures for pathogen isolation
• Preparation of blood products for transfusion

In addition to locations on the first floor of the hospital and in the 311 Medical Office Building at 311 S. 15^th St., the laboratory has several draw stations located in Coshocton Regional Medical Center Physician Clinics in the communities we serve. Click here for a list of locations and hours.

Cardiac Testing at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center Laboratory

The laboratory also performs diagnostic testing of the heart with tests that include:

• Electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG)
• Stress Testing
• EEGs
• Echocardiograms

These non-invasive tests are used to evaluate the heart’s performance and are done by order of your physician. Your physician’s office staff will assist you in scheduling your test for a time that is convenient for you. Cardiac testing is available at our main laboratory located on the first floor of Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
