Intensive Care Visitations
For the safety and care of the patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), visiting hour restrictions are somewhat different than for other units of the hospital.
- ICU visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
- Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the patient’s room
Patient Condition Reports
To protect the patient’s privacy, we cannot release detailed patient information over the phone. With the consent of the patient, we can report his or her condition.

Protect Patients From Infection
If you are ill, please do not visit your loved one in the hospital. If you must visit, please ask the ICU nurse for a mask and wear it at all times.
All visitors are asked to use hand sanitizer before entering and after leaving the patient’s room. We have hand sanitizer available for visitor use inside the unit and at the entrance to the ICU.
Cell Phone Use
Cell phones are not to be used in the ICU and we ask that phones be silenced or turned off when visiting. You are welcome to use your cell phone in the ICU waiting room or in the hallway outside the nursing unit doors.
Chaplain
If you or your family members wish to speak to a chaplain, our nursing staff will call one for you. While visiting, you are also welcome to stop by our chapel, located outside the emergency department on the first floor of the hospital.
